Synthetic Turf Replacement for Football Pitch

The London Borough of Islington is seeking suppliers to replace the 3G football pitch at Whittington Park. The project includes several key tasks: setting up the site, managing preliminary costs for welfare, removing the existing synthetic turf, inspecting the current shockpad, cleaning the area, and installing new features to prevent infill migration. Additionally, localized repairs will be made to the pitch base, and a new SBR rubber infilled 3G synthetic turf layer will be installed, meeting FIFA Quality standards. The completed pitch will be tested for inclusion on the FA pitch register. Potential additional work may include replacing the shockpad if it is found unsuitable, providing an alternative infill carpet and shockpad system, and offering aftercare services for 12 months with six visits.
