Monaghan Peace Campus Café Tender

Monaghan County Council is seeking a tenderer to operate a café at the Monaghan Peace Campus, a public civic building serving cultural, educational, community, and public services. The café will operate as a social enterprise providing quality food and beverage services to staff, service users, and approximately 128,000 annual visitors. The facility hosts over 600 events annually with consistent weekly attendance exceeding 400 people, creating substantial revenue opportunities across daytime and evening hours. The café should complement co-located services, enhance the visitor experience, and align with the Peace Campus values of community engagement, sustainability, quality, and stakeholder collaboration. Currently, only limited food services are available through external catering and an on-site barista. The appointed operator will have flexibility to develop the café offering based on demand and programming. This facility is funded through the PEACE IV Programme managed by SEUPB.
