    Brief

    Derby City Council is seeking a provider to deliver an Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service for Children in Care (CIC). This service aims to support the emotional and mental health needs of CIC and their therapeutic parenting teams through trauma-informed interventions. The selected provider will work with children in care, including those placed by other authorities within Derbyshire, and those cared for by approved foster carers living within 5 miles of Derbyshire. The service will not prescribe medications and does not require CQC registration. Additionally, there will be a two-year pilot program for CIC with complex needs, starting in September 2025. The contract will involve collaboration with Derby City Council, NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board, and Derbyshire County Council.
