Cork University Hospital Paediatric Inpatient Accommodation Extension - Phase 2

This project involves constructing a 5-storey extension to the paediatric unit at Cork University Hospital in Ireland. The facility will include 82 paediatric inpatient bedrooms, high dependency units, palliative care suites, haematology bed spaces, procedure rooms, operating theatres, and diagnostic facilities. The development also incorporates staff facilities, mechanical and electrical plant, and storage space necessary for unit operations. Note that Level 0 theatres and the radiology/diagnostic suite will be delivered as shell and core structures for completion through a separate fit-out project. This construction work presents opportunities for contractors and suppliers in hospital facilities development and healthcare infrastructure.
