    Brief

    Dublin City Council is seeking qualified construction contractors to establish a 4-year multi-party framework agreement (maximum value €165,000,000 ex VAT) for investigation, repair, retrofit, and renewal works on its properties. The framework will support the refurbishment of approximately 750 homes across diverse building types including multi-unit apartment blocks, protected structures, and individual properties, as well as adaptive reuse of existing buildings for housing and precinct improvements. Key works include building investigations, hazardous material removal, structural repairs and underpinning, conservation work on protected structures, roof repairs and replacements, thermal and fire safety upgrades, mechanical and electrical systems installation, demolition and alterations, and public realm enhancements. Contractors must comply with Building Control Regulations 1997-2014, Safety, Health and Welfare at Work legislation, and conservation best practices. Projects will be tendered individually and executed in phases according to specific requirements. This competitive procedure with negotiation is open to experienced works contractors and is subject to EU Directive 2014/24/EC. Funding is subject to confirmation.
