Recruit and Manage Accessibility Design Reference Group

The Combined Authority seeks an independent organisation to establish and manage a new Accessibility Design Reference Group (ADRG) comprising individuals with lived experience of disabilities, long-term health conditions, physical and non-physical impairments, and other accessibility barriers. The successful organisation will be responsible for recruiting group members, providing ongoing management and facilitation, and supporting the group's core activities. The ADRG will provide constructive feedback on transport accessibility barriers across all modes of transport in West Yorkshire and offer design reference support for transport schemes. Members will use their lived experience to help identify and eliminate accessibility barriers, ensuring the transport network is inclusive and accessible for all users.
