Gritting and Snow Removal Services

North Wales Police is seeking a qualified contractor to provide gritting and snow removal services for 29 police locations across the North Wales Region during the colder months. The contractor will monitor weather data from a recognized meteorological office and will email their plans for gritting the designated sites for that evening once a trigger level is reached. North Wales Police reserves the right to cancel any scheduled visit on weekdays up to 12 noon on the day of the report, but will automatically allow access to locations on Saturdays and Sundays due to limited email access outside normal office hours. Police vetting is required through the Warwickshire vetting service to NPPV Level 1. The contract is set to commence on October 1, 2025, and will run for a period of 3 years, with an option to extend for an additional 2 years if both parties are satisfied with the performance.
