London Inpatient Detoxification and Stabilisation Service Provision

The City of London Corporation is seeking experienced provider organisations to deliver Inpatient Detoxification and Stabilisation (IPD) beds across London. This three-year contract, valued at £7.95 million (approximately £2.6 million annually), aims to establish sustainable, geographically dispersed IPD provision that serves all London residents, including those experiencing homelessness or at risk of sleeping rough. The service will provide specialist inpatient medically assisted withdrawal beds and residential medically assisted withdrawal beds, with strategic distribution to ensure equitable pan-London access and increased availability in the London and M25 regions. Providers must have demonstrable experience delivering complex health and social care services and be willing to commit to block booking arrangements for bed capacity. This procurement is conducted through the City of London Corporation Sourcing & Contracts Portal and is governed by the Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime 2023 as amended by the Procurement Act 2023.
