Incident Command Training and Accreditation for Fire and Rescue Services

Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Authority is seeking a training provider to deliver comprehensive Incident Command training and accreditation for commanders at all levels. The training must align with national guidelines and recognised best practice standards to ensure personnel can effectively manage operational incidents including fires and other emergencies. The Service operates across Tyne and Wear with strategically positioned stations, staff, and appliances, supported by mutual aid arrangements with neighbouring services for major emergencies. Successful delivery of this training is critical to: maintaining operational readiness and competence among all command-level personnel; ensuring safe and efficient response to incidents; enabling the Service to meet community needs; and sustaining organisational resilience. The training provider should have experience in emergency services instruction and be able to deliver accredited programmes that equip commanders with the knowledge and skills to perform their roles confidently and competently.
