Test Track Melton Operations Contract

Network Rail is seeking an experienced supplier to operate Test Track Melton for a four-year initial term (April 1, 2028), with optional extensions up to eight years total. Key responsibilities include: managing train movements and rail haulage operations; providing site and workshop support; delivering operational facilities services; supplying locomotives and associated equipment; coordinating incident response; and liaising with stakeholders. The successful supplier will ensure smooth daily operations and maintain safety standards across all operational activities. Note: Rail infrastructure and structural building maintenance are excluded from this contract scope and remain Network Rail's responsibility.
