    Brief

The CAWT Partnership is seeking Voluntary/Community organizations to deliver community-based, evidence-based early intervention health improvement programs for children across border counties in Ireland and Northern Ireland. This PEACEPLUS-funded initiative aims to address rising obesity rates, particularly in deprived populations, by providing accessible weight management and prevention programs. Organizations should offer comprehensive Tier 1 support including physical activity, healthy eating education, and behavioral change interventions for children of all ages. The project complements existing services and works alongside statutory health providers (HSE) who deliver Tier 2 obesity management programs. Successful tenderers will implement programs that ensure equality of access across both jurisdictions and contribute to preventing obesity-related health issues in the shared population along the Ireland-Northern Ireland border.
