School Lettings and Facilities Management Services - Hitchin Girls' School

Hitchin Girls' School is seeking a professional lettings and facilities management contractor to provide fully managed letting services for a 3-year contract (28 May 2026 – 27 May 2029), with an option to extend for up to two additional years. The school has 1,357 pupils and 164 teaching and support staff. The successful contractor will be responsible for managing the school's facilities lettings to increase income streams, maximize the use of school assets, and enhance community engagement. The school is seeking a contractor who will work as a trusted partner to improve lettings services, generate increased revenue, maintain professional standards, and support the school's reputation and ability to attract pupils. The current annual lettings value is £75,000 (£375,000 over the 3-year contract term). This is a fixed-price contract with monthly invoicing. Contractors are encouraged to propose creative ideas for developing and enhancing lettings activity. The procurement will follow a two-stage Competitive Flexible Procedure: Stage 1 is a Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ) where 5-10 candidates will be selected (minimum 60% score required) to progress to Stage 2. Stage 2 is an Invitation to Tender (ITT) evaluated on 50% price and 50% quality criteria.
