    Brief

The Council is seeking a qualified Contractor to undertake external refurbishment works to Hanwell Chapel, a Grade II listed building. The scope includes roof repairs to the vestry areas with joist replacement, exterior stonework repairs, replacement of rainwater goods, and new protective fencing around the catacombs area. The works are necessary to address current water ingress and damp issues that are causing deterioration to both the interior and exterior of the building. Without these repairs, the damage will worsen significantly. The catacombs fencing is essential to protect the structural integrity of this underground feature. Planning permission and Listed Building consent have been applied for, with decisions pending. Contract award is conditional upon approval of all necessary Planning and Listed Building Consents. Contractors must demonstrate experience with listed building works and heritage conservation practices.
