Suffolk Micro-Mobility Rental Scheme Operator

Suffolk County Council is seeking a commercial operator to establish and manage a micro-mobility rental scheme across Suffolk. The scheme will launch in Ipswich and expand to connect other areas of Suffolk over time. Services will include rental operations for e-scooters, e-bikes, and e-cargo bikes. The successful operator will be responsible for all assets, operations, maintenance, customer service, and revenue generation. The scheme is expected to be largely self-financing with minimal council subsidy. The operator must have experience in managing shared mobility services, maintaining rental equipment, and providing user support. This opportunity is approved under the Department for Transport's e-scooter trials program.
