    Brief

    The Tees Valley Combined Authority is seeking a service provider to deliver comprehensive active travel services across five local authorities (Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, and Redcar & Cleveland). The successful provider will promote the adoption and use of the Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP), support tourism leisure routes, and encourage more people to choose active travel for work, education, training, and daily activities. Key responsibilities include: building public engagement and community involvement capabilities; delivering behaviour change campaigns and communications to increase active travel uptake; managing staff and volunteers; and operating from two physical locations while ensuring equitable service delivery across all five constituent authorities. The ideal provider will have proven experience in behaviour change initiatives, community engagement, volunteer management, and delivering infrastructure-linked active travel programmes across diverse geographical areas.
