Young People Aspirations Program Contract

Cannock Chase District Council has received funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) to implement its Investment Plan from 2022 to March 2025. This plan includes a focus on People and Skills, specifically aimed at supporting high school students in the district to enhance their aspirations and empower them to make informed decisions regarding their subject choices and future careers. In a rapidly changing technological and cultural landscape, young people require specialized support to navigate their career options effectively. This initiative aims to benefit young individuals at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) or those facing educational challenges. It represents an inclusive approach to achieving the goals of the UKSPF Investment Plan in Cannock Chase. Cannock Chase Council is seeking a skilled and experienced organization to help young people reach their full potential by delivering various enterprise and employability programs. The selected organization will work inclusively and flexibly to tackle social mobility challenges in underserved communities. The program should focus on developing financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills, creating opportunities to enhance aspirations, build confidence, adaptability, resourcefulness, and resilience. The initiative will ensure equal access by partnering with mainstream schools, Pupil Referral Units, and Special Educational Needs (SEND) settings in the Cannock Chase District.
