Community-Based Early Intervention Health Improvement Programme in Northern Ireland

The CAWT PEACEPLUS Healthier Futures Project seeks a service provider to deliver Tier 1 community-based early intervention support for adults in the Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) and Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT) areas of Northern Ireland. The programme addresses unhealthy environments and factors contributing to overweight and obesity through three core intervention areas: increasing physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviour, promoting healthy eating, and supporting behaviour change. Health literacy is recognised as integral to all three areas. The successful tenderer will be responsible for implementing evidence-based interventions that improve health outcomes and promote healthier lifestyles in the target communities.
