Food Safety Inspections and Official Controls Service

Leeds City Council and the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council are seeking a service provider to deliver official control food interventions and food premises inspections. The successful supplier will be responsible for conducting routine and risk-based inspections of food businesses, enforcing food safety regulations, and maintaining compliance with official food control standards. This includes inspecting restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and other food handling premises within both councils' areas, documenting findings, and taking appropriate enforcement action where necessary. The service provider must have expertise in food safety legislation, inspection procedures, and the ability to work across two local authority areas with professionalism and consistency.
