    Brief

The Marine Institute is seeking suppliers to provide, install, and commission an automated Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) instrument for shellfish toxin analysis. The system must perform automated sample clean-up using C18 and SPE-COOH ion-exchange cartridges, with outputs compatible with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography with Fluorescence Detection (HPLC-FLD) analysis. The instrument will be used to detect and quantify Paralytic Shellfish Toxins (PSTs) in shellfish samples as part of routine marine biotoxin monitoring in an accredited laboratory setting. The contract includes a five-year warranty and service agreement from the date of installation. Suppliers should ensure the system delivers reliable, reproducible, and efficient sample preparation to meet accreditation standards and support marine safety testing protocols. This is a national open call opportunity.
