Building and Services Works for Snape Maltings Concert Hall

Britten Pears Arts is seeking suppliers for various building and service works at the Snape Maltings Concert Hall. This project includes enhancements to acoustics, technical equipment, and accessibility features such as new lifts and refurbishments. The scope of work includes: 1. **Concert Hall Improvements:** - Acoustic treatments and installation of retractable banners. - Upgrades to performance technical equipment, including stage and house lighting, rigging systems, and assisted listening devices. - Replacement of roof covering and insulation on the south, east, and west sides, along with high-level maintenance and structural repairs. - Refurbishment of restrooms and fabric repairs to brickwork. - Ventilation improvements with a new air handling unit and new lighting. - Refurbishment of two existing lifts and installation of a new platform lift. - Remodeling of the Discovery Centre for future exhibition space. 2. **Heating and Renewable Energy Enhancements:** - Consolidation of energy center boilers and installation of new district heating and cooling pipework. - Installation of photovoltaic panels on the lower south roof of the concert hall and the Hoffmann building. - Implementation of a new site-wide Building Management System (BMS).
