PR Agency Services for Fresh and Balance

Synchronicity Care Limited is seeking a PR agency to provide communications services for Fresh and Balance, the North East's integrated public health programme focused on reducing tobacco and alcohol harm. The successful agency will develop and deliver PR and communications support across traditional and digital media channels, with expertise in social marketing for behaviour change campaigns. Key responsibilities include: - Delivering year-round news coverage and social media engagement across all channels to maintain public awareness - Supporting three communications strands: behaviour change (promoting smoking cessation and reduced drinking via campaigns, social media, and websites including FreshQuit.co.uk and ReduceMyRisk.tv); highlighting the regional and national harm and costs of tobacco and alcohol use; and campaigning for policy change at national level - Working with senior stakeholders, partners, and community organisations to build support for tobacco and alcohol harm reduction measures - Developing communications strategies and executing campaigns across both the Fresh (tobacco) and Balance (alcohol) brands as a single integrated programme - Securing media content across print, broadcast, and online platforms The agency must demonstrate experience in social marketing, behaviour change communications, public health campaigns, and multi-channel media strategy. The contract will commence on 1st April 2027 with potential for extension subject to satisfactory performance and continued funding.
