Independent Person for Devon Pension Fund

Devon County Council is recruiting an Independent Person to provide independent advice and governance support to the Investment and Pension Fund Committee. The Devon Pension Fund is a major institutional fund with assets of £6.8 billion, serving over 270 employers and 100,000 scheme members (active contributors, pensioners, and deferred members). The successful candidate will help ensure effective oversight of pension administration, investment management, funding strategies, investment performance, and risk management in accordance with parliamentary regulations. This is a key governance role requiring expertise in pension fund administration and investment oversight to support the Committee's decision-making and fiduciary responsibilities.
