Consultancy Services for Regional Renewable Energy Strategies in Ireland

The three Irish Regional Assemblies (Eastern and Midlands, Northern and Western, and Southern) seek qualified consultants to develop renewable energy strategies for their territories. The work involves: (1) creating region-specific reports that establish and allocate on-shore wind and solar energy targets for local authorities; (2) conducting comprehensive geospatial and environmental analysis to identify viable renewable energy opportunities; (3) engaging with infrastructure stakeholders (EirGrid and ESB Networks) to assess grid capacity and constraints; (4) ensuring alignment with regional and national energy targets, statutory requirements, and energy security needs; (5) coordinating with each Regional Assembly to deliver three bespoke documents using an agreed methodology.
