Architectural, Construction, Engineering and Inspection Services - Rahan Flood Relief Scheme Engineering and Environmental Consultancy

Offaly County Council is seeking engineering and environmental consultancy services for the Rahan Flood Relief Scheme in County Offaly, Ireland. The project involves designing and managing approximately 430 metres of reinforced concrete flood defence infrastructure along the River Clodiagh to protect residential properties and a wastewater treatment plant from flooding. The successful consultant will provide services across three key stages: statutory consent and detailed design (Stage ii), construction-stage services and technical support (Stage iv), and project handover and defects management (Stage v). Specific responsibilities include detailed design development, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, ground investigation specification, environmental impact assessment review, Appropriate Assessment screening, Part 8 statutory consent documentation, construction works packages for direct labour delivery, Project Supervisor Design Process duties, and final handover documentation. The construction works will be delivered by the Office of Public Works using direct labour, so this commission excludes works contractor procurement. The project is funded by the Office of Public Works and delivered under the Capital Works Management Framework.
