Community Social Prescribing Service for Bexley

NHS South East London Integrated Care Board is commissioning a borough-wide Community Social Prescribing Service for the London Borough of Bexley to support residents aged 18 and over, with a dedicated Children and Young People's counselling offer for secondary school age up to 18 years. The service will connect residents to community, voluntary and statutory support through person-centred conversations, helping them access non-clinical services such as advice, wellbeing activities, peer support, volunteering opportunities and digital inclusion. It will include dedicated housing advocacy capacity to help residents navigate housing routes and connect to appropriate support. The provider will receive referrals from primary care, social care, statutory agencies and community organisations, and will work collaboratively with Integrated Neighbourhood Teams, Local Care Networks, GP practices and the wider voluntary sector to address local needs and service gaps. Contract Details: Annual value £921,608 for 3.5 years with optional extension up to 2 years (maximum contract value £5,068,844). This is a Provider Selection Regime procurement using the Most Suitable Provider Process, evaluated against five key criteria: quality and innovation, value, integration and collaboration, improving access and reducing health inequalities, and social value.
