Bulk De-icing Salt Supply Opportunity

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking suppliers for bulk de-icing rock salt and associated products/services to support winter service delivery for both Sandwell MBC and Dudley MBC. This procurement is conducted as a further competition under the ESPO Framework Agreement 220_24. Suppliers will deliver materials to designated storage depots for each authority. Each authority will enter into its own contract based on the framework terms. The indicative annual expenditure is approximately £130,000 for each authority, but this may vary based on weather conditions and service needs. The maximum storage capacity is 7,000 tonnes for Sandwell MBC and 9,000 tonnes for Dudley MBC. Interested suppliers must register on the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal to access the tender documents and submit their bids.
