Teaching and Learning Spaces Refurbishment at the University of Sheffield

The University of Sheffield is seeking suppliers to participate in a tender for the refurbishment of teaching and learning spaces across six buildings on its campus. This project includes work in the following locations: Alfred Denny Building, Bartolome House, Dental School, The Diamond, Hicks Building, and Sheffield University Management School. Key aspects of the refurbishment include: - Internal upgrades at Alfred Denny, such as new floor coverings, redecoration, and ceiling modifications. - Replacement of lighting fixtures at Alfred Denny. - Reconfiguration of heating systems and radiators at Bartolome House. - Installation of fixtures like brackets and relocated whiteboards. - Improvements to small power and data systems to support audio-visual upgrades. - Provision of access equipment for audio-visual installations by the University of Sheffield's AV department. The project is divided into six contract sections: 1. Alfred Denny LT01 & LT02 2. Hicks Building LT02 3. Management School LT01 4. Diamond LT01, CR2, WR3 5. Dental School LT01 6. Bartolome House BB05, 06, 08, 11, 15a Please note that this list is not exhaustive. Detailed technical specifications will be provided in the tender documentation, which will be sent upon expressing interest. The tender process is open, and interested suppliers can download the Invitation to Tender (ITT) by registering on the University’s e-tendering system at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield. Any questions regarding the tender must be submitted through the same system. Completed tenders should also be submitted via the e-tendering system. The deadline for submitting tenders is June 6, 2025, at 12 noon (UK time).
