Therapeutic Assessments for Education and Health Care Plans

Derbyshire County Council, Derby City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, and Nottingham City Council (collectively known as D2N2) are collaborating to improve outcomes for children in the region. We recognize the need for additional support from external providers to deliver effective and timely therapeutic assessments that aid in the development of Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for children requiring assistance. To enhance the delivery of these assessments and ensure better outcomes for children with educational needs, we are inviting providers to join a framework. This framework is divided into four categories: a) Educational Psychology b) Speech and Language Therapy c) Occupational Therapy and Sensory Therapy d) Physiotherapy Providers can submit proposals for one or more categories and can choose to provide services in specific areas covered by the D2N2 Framework. The procurement will follow the 'Light Touch Regime' for Social and Other Specific Services, and we plan to periodically reopen the framework for new applicants.
