Design Team Services for Fire Service Learning Campus in Monaghan

Monaghan County Council, in partnership with the National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management (NDFEM), is seeking an architect-led integrated multi-disciplinary design team to develop a new Learning and Development Campus at Annahagh, Monaghan. The €3+ million facility will comprise three standalone buildings: a Learning and Development Centre (main training and administrative hub), an Enclosed Compartment Fire Behaviour Training Rig, and a High Volume Pump Appliance and Equipment Storage facility. The campus will support national fire service training aligned with QQI and NDFEM standards, delivering programs in breathing apparatus operations, compartment fire behavior, pump operations, transportation incident response, hazardous materials response, and command and control training. The facility will also house the regional High Volume Pump for emergency response to major incidents and flooding events. The successful design team will provide full architectural and related professional services to deliver this strategically important regional training and emergency response facility. This is a significant infrastructure project with national importance for fire and emergency management capability.
