Graduation Ceremonies Venue and Event Management Services

De Montfort University seeks a single qualified supplier to provide both a suitable graduation ceremony venue and comprehensive event management services. The supplier will be responsible for planning, producing, and delivering graduation ceremonies, including on-the-day management and event production. The university conducts two graduation cycles annually: winter graduations (approximately £145,000 annually) and summer graduations (approximately £187,000 annually), with total annual spend of around £332,000 excluding VAT. The new contract will commence on 1st March 2028, following expiration of the current agreement on 29th February 2028. An initial three-year contract period is anticipated, running to 28th February 2031, with the option to extend for up to an additional two years (maximum five-year duration ending 28th February 2033). Contract extensions will be subject to available budget, supplier performance evaluation, and the university's continuing business requirements, at the university's sole discretion.
