Strategic Partnership Opportunity: New Digestive Disease Centre at University Hospital Southampton

University Hospital Southampton (UHS) is seeking strategic partners to help design, build, and operate a new regional endoscopy centre. UHS serves a population of over 3 million and is rebuilding its endoscopy services following a fire. The project has a budget of £20-25 million for design and construction, with existing equipment worth £8-10 million to be refreshed throughout the contract. This hybrid procurement and sponsorship opportunity invites suppliers to collaborate on multiple fronts: (1) providing endoscopy equipment for clinical use, innovation testing, and training; (2) developing a regional training centre to build the next generation of endoscopy professionals; (3) establishing a joint innovation test bed to validate new technologies such as AI diagnostic tools in a live NHS environment; and (4) exploring commercial sponsorship arrangements with associated recognition and collaboration benefits.
