Civil Engineering Framework Agreement 2026-2030

NY Highways Limited (NYH) has established a framework contract to appoint civil engineering contractors for works on the highways and bridge network in the North Yorkshire region. The framework will be used to procure suitable suppliers to carry out civil engineering works on behalf of NYH, City of York Council, North Yorkshire Council, and their wholly owned subsidiaries. Works will predominantly take place on bridges and the highway network, though may occasionally include other civil engineering activities such as works under Highways Act Sections 38 and 278, and off-highway projects. Typical works include resurfacing, reconstruction, slurry sealing, drainage works, kerbing, bridge repairs, retaining walls, culverts, and related activities. The framework is divided into two lots based on contract value: Lot 1 for projects valued £0-£100,000 and Lot 2 for projects exceeding £100,000. Suppliers will be selected either with or without competition when awarding work under this framework.
