Sports Turf Maintenance Services for Griffin Park Bowling Green

Porthcawl Town Council is seeking quotations from experienced and qualified sports turf contractors to provide comprehensive maintenance services for the bowling green at Griffin Park, New Road, Porthcawl. Services required include end-of-season renovation, winter maintenance, pre-season preparation, and in-season maintenance to ensure the green remains healthy, disease-free, well-aerated, and provides a high-quality playing surface for the 2027 bowling season and beyond. The bowling green is a standard six-rink facility measuring approximately 40m x 40m. The current turf is in generally average to good condition with minor moss issues; however, the green edges require reseeding and dressing to address bare patches. Contractors should demonstrate expertise in bowling green maintenance, turf health management, and the ability to deliver professional maintenance throughout the contract period.
