Decarbonisation Through Procurement Action Plan - Ceredigion County Council

Ceredigion County Council is seeking a qualified service provider to develop a comprehensive Decarbonisation Through Procurement Action Plan. The council aims to align with other Welsh local authorities by implementing carbon reduction strategies within its procurement function, ensuring compliance with both its own policies and Welsh Government directives. The service provider will deliver an action plan and work packages addressing: (1) Data collection and analysis, (2) Policy and Strategy understanding, (3) Internal training and information dissemination, (4) Supplier engagement and procurement tools, (5) Pre-procurement activities, and (6) Carbon reduction plans. All work must be completed by mid-March 2027. The contract value stated is an estimate for guidance only and does not represent a fixed budget. Bidders are encouraged to submit competitive proposals based on current market rates.
