Tree Risk Assessment and Management Planning Services

South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council are seeking a qualified Arborist or suitably qualified inspector to undertake a comprehensive tree risk management project across their combined council land areas. The scope of work includes: (1) Zoning all SHDC and BBC sites to identify areas requiring assessment; (2) Conducting a complete inventory of trees across all sites using current industry standards and Forest Research Data protocols; (3) Performing active risk assessments on trees located in high-risk areas (zones of high confluence); (4) Providing half-day field training to council parks and gardens staff to enable them to conduct passive tree assessments independently. The successful contractor will need relevant arboricultural qualifications and experience in tree surveying, risk assessment methodologies, and staff training delivery.
