Reporting Accountant Services for Housing Benefit Subsidy Assurance

This contract seeks a Reporting Accountant to provide Housing Benefit (Subsidy) Assurance Process (HBAP) services. The service provider will conduct housing benefit assurance work in compliance with the HBAP reporting framework instructions and current Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) guidance. The engagement covers three financial years ending (FYE) 26, 27, and 28. The successful contractor will be responsible for delivering independent assurance reporting on housing benefit subsidy claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing detailed audit reports to support the local authority's financial accountability.
