    Brief

The Crown Estate is conducting preliminary market engagement for Offshore Wind Leasing Round 6, scheduled to launch in 2027. This engagement is exclusively for existing and prospective offshore wind developers and project investors who have the capacity and interest in bidding. The Crown Estate will hold a Spatial Design Webinar on 23rd July 2026 to present the spatial design process and gather feedback through live Q&A and written responses. Additionally, bilateral discussions will be available from July 2026 until 28th February 2027 to discuss the developing market proposition for Round 6. These engagement activities aim to collect perspectives from the offshore wind sector to inform the design of Leasing Round 6 and future leasing rounds. Interested companies should email round6@thecrownestate.co.uk to apply. Note: This is preliminary market engagement only and is not a formal call for competition; formal tender notices will be issued separately under the Procurement Act 2023.
