    Brief

Cambridgeshire County Council is looking to procure a flexible fleet vehicle supply solution, specifically seeking up to 22 wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Currently, we operate a fleet of 22 vehicles, which includes 15 vehicles for Adult Social Care and home-to-school transport, 4 vehicles for Children’s Services, and 3 vehicles sub-leased to service user groups. These vehicles will be used across Cambridgeshire County. Our goal is to secure long-term vehicles for our core fleet of 19 vehicles, which are operated by employed drivers, as well as for day centres with high demand. For the remaining vehicles, we will consider short-term hire options that provide the best value for money to meet service demands and challenges. This procurement is for a period of 48 months, with an option to extend for an additional 24 months in 12-month intervals. Please note that this is a further competition under the TPPL Framework Fleet Rental Lot 4, and only bidders currently on the framework are eligible to apply. This is an invite-only opportunity.
