Grass Cutting Services Contract for Middleton Cheney Parish Council (2026-2028)

Middleton Cheney Parish Council is seeking a contractor to provide seasonal grass cutting and maintenance services for various public spaces, including parks, play areas, and roadside verges. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the grass in amenity spaces such as the village green, cemetery, and local authority verges, ensuring that the height of the cut is appropriate for each area as agreed with the Council Officer. Additional tasks include strimming around grave markers, play equipment, and other site fixtures, as well as removing grass clippings from safety surfaces and seating areas. The contract requires weekly maintenance of the cemetery and regular care for other green spaces, with the possibility of adjusting the number of cuts based on seasonal growth. Contractors are encouraged to visit the sites before tendering to fully understand the requirements. The contract is for a term of three years and requires proof of public liability insurance and professional qualifications. Tenders must be submitted by September 29, 2025.
