    Brief

The BBC is seeking suppliers to enhance playground facilities across several locations. The project includes the following key objectives: 1. **Yukon Close**: Separate toddler and junior play areas by relocating existing railings, adding flat and cradle swings, replacing seesaws, and improving inclusivity. The aim is to encourage local children to use the LEAP facility, helping them develop coordination, balance, and core strength. All equipment should be durable and cost-effective. 2. **Penton Drive**: Upgrade older equipment, including roundabouts and basket swings, with a focus on safety and inclusivity. The goal is to enhance children's play experiences while ensuring accessibility. 3. **Richardson Crescent**: Remove outdated equipment from the toddler area and create a safer, updated layout that separates toddler and junior sections. New flat swings will be added for junior play. 4. **Gosse Close**: Replace and upgrade flat swings and older equipment, introducing a new springer and improving inclusivity. Safety upgrades are also a priority. 5. **Whit Hern Park**: Introduce floor markings to promote physical activity and social skills development, enhancing coordination, balance, and core strength. 6. **Post Installation Inspection**: A play inspection company will conduct inspections at each site after installation. For more details, including specifications, please refer to the tender documents available for download from Supply Hertfordshire at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/supplyhertfordshire. The deadline for submissions is 12:00 noon on Monday, July 14, 2025, and the deadline for queries is 5:00 PM on Monday, July 7, 2025. All queries should be submitted via the portal.
