School Active Travel Coordinator

This role involves partnering with schools to achieve Modeshift STARS accreditation, a nationally recognized program that encourages and recognizes schools for promoting sustainable travel and active transportation (such as walking, cycling, and public transport) among students. The successful candidate will work with school staff, students, and families to develop and implement travel plans, remove barriers to active travel, and document progress toward accreditation standards. Responsibilities may include organizing awareness campaigns, supporting infrastructure improvements, tracking modal shift data, and providing guidance to schools throughout the certification process.
