Project Manager Consultant for NHS Capital Projects

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) is seeking an experienced Project Manager Consultant to support its Capital Projects team for approximately 18 months. You will manage day-to-day project activities, provide monthly progress reports, and escalate issues through appropriate channels. Key Requirements: - Proven experience in public sector procurement (professional services and works contracts) - Demonstrable background working in complex public sector or healthcare environments with comparable governance structures - Knowledge of NHS Wales governance, NEC4 PSC Option A contracts, Health and Safety at Work (WHTM/WHBN standards), and CDM Regulations - Ability to manage competing demands of cost, time, and quality - Strong capability to handle complex, contentious, and sensitive information Working Arrangements: - Regular on-site presence across multiple CTMUHB locations is required - Remote working permitted for administrative and planning tasks only - Must be available for site visits, project meetings, inspections, and operational coordination as needed You will act as CTMUHB's representative, ensuring all projects comply with governance structures, statutory requirements, and internal procedures while delivering comprehensive capital planning and project management services.
