Smoking Cessation Support for LGBTQ People and Ethnic Minorities in Trafford

Trafford Council Public Health is commissioning smoking cessation services targeting health inequalities in specific population groups. This annual contract, valued at £2,500 per year (maximum £7,500 over 3 years), will deliver brief advice and support to help people from ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and people living with HIV and AIDS quit smoking. The service will be delivered by the PaSH partnership, a collaboration of three voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organizations: George House Trust, LGBTQ Foundation, and BHA for Equality. Providers will offer very brief smoking cessation advice and signpost service users to appropriate cessation services. The contract runs for an initial 1-year period with options to extend for up to two additional 1-year periods.
