Primary School Extension: New Classrooms and Special Needs Facilities

This project involves construction works at Queen of Angels Primary School in Wedgewood, Sandyford, Dublin 16 (D16 D16AX05). The scope includes a new entrance canopy and lobby, three mainstream classrooms with associated toilets, two special education needs (SEN) classrooms with quiet spaces and independent-use toilets, a central activity space with daily living skills area, a sensory room, secure lobby, SEN office, and staff facilities. Alteration works to the existing school comprise window modifications to classrooms, removal of one tree and part of an existing hedge to create dedicated SEN pupil and fire brigade access. External works include creation of six additional parking spaces (including one disabled bay) and installation of an attenuation tank with infiltration system for surface water management. This is a comprehensive school expansion designed to enhance capacity and provide specialized facilities for students with additional educational needs.
