Contract Hire of Acoustic Receivers for Fish Monitoring at Hinkley Point C

This opportunity seeks contract hire of specialized acoustic monitoring equipment for a 6-month deployment at Hinkley Point C power station, ending 30th October 2026. The equipment required includes 88 Innovasea VR2Tx acoustic receivers and 20 Innovasea VR2AR acoustic receivers with 20 ARC mooring canisters. The equipment will be used to detect and monitor fish presence, specifically twaite shad (Alosa fallax), a protected species, and assess the risk of fish abstraction into water intake heads. This is a funded project for NNB GENCo(HPC) Ltd. Interested suppliers should have experience with marine acoustic monitoring systems and the ability to support equipment deployment and data collection throughout the contract period.
