Mayor's Employment Fund - Croydon

Croydon Council is launching the Mayor's Employment Fund (MEF) to address above-average unemployment and economic inactivity in the borough. The fund supports residents moving into, remaining in, and progressing within quality employment, aligned with the Council's Employment and Skills Plan and the Mayor's Business Plan. The MEF seeks experienced providers to deliver employment support across four main areas: • Lot 1 - Youth Provision (16-24 years): £175,000 total across 3 sub-lots (1a: £50,000; 1b: £50,000; 1c: £75,000 per annum) • Lot 2 - Care Experienced Young People: £75,000 per annum • Lot 3 - Homelessness Support: £175,000 total across 3 sub-lots (3a: £50,000; 3b: £50,000; 3c: £75,000 per annum) • Lot 4 - Veterans and Families Support: £50,000 per annum Providers should offer culturally competent, evidence-based interventions for residents with multiple barriers. Bidders may hold a maximum of one main contract (as sole or lead provider) and one additional contract (as named partner or sub-contractor).
