Grounds Investigation Framework Agreement

Anglian Water Services Ltd (AWS) is establishing a Grounds Investigation (GI) Framework covering their region from Grimsby to Norwich. This is a planned procurement notice to notify suppliers of an upcoming framework opportunity. Framework Details: - Duration: 5 years with optional 3-year extension - Total estimated spend: £35,445,420 (excluding VAT) over 8 years - Geographic coverage: Anglian Water region (North to South: Grimsby to Basildon; East to West: Norwich to Daventry) Framework Structure (5 Lots): - Lot 1: GI Works for contracts over £100k - Lot 2: GI Services for contracts over £100k - Lot 3: GI Works for contracts below £100k - Lot 4: GI Services for contracts below £100k - Lot 5: Groundwater Investigation Works and Services (typically below £100k) Scope of Work: Contractor services include drilling, boring, sampling, monitoring, field testing, geophysical testing, instrumentation, reinstatement, surveying, in-situ testing, lab testing and reporting. Consultant services include scoping, works supervision, lab testing, reporting, and design. Key Projects: Work will support major infrastructure projects including 2 reservoir sites, 4 desalination plants, an Advanced Water Recycling Centre, and the Strategic Pipeline Alliance connecting North Lincolnshire to Essex, plus smaller projects across the region. Contracting Model: Bespoke AWS Framework Agreement with NEC4 ECC/ECSC and PSC/PSSC call-off arrangements or purchase orders. Work allocation via mini-competition and direct award options.
