Educational Psychologists for Student Assessments

Wirral's Educational Psychology Service is seeking additional Educational Psychologists to support its core team in delivering statutory psychological evaluations for children and young people undergoing Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNA). The role involves conducting psychological assessments, providing expert advice, and contributing to the formal assessment process that determines whether students require an Education, Health and Care Plan. This is an opportunity for qualified psychologists to deliver essential support services to vulnerable students while working with an established local authority service. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications in educational or child psychology and experience in assessment and statutory advice provision.
