Brief

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) seeks a supplier to deliver a comprehensive public and workforce engagement programme for the Independent Commission into Adult Social Care (Casey Commission). The programme will gather views from the public, underrepresented groups, care workers, and social care providers to inform the Commission's final recommendations. The engagement will involve three main components: (1) multi-modal public engagement using digital platforms and community outreach to reach seldom-heard and marginalised groups; (2) a standing citizens' group representative of England's population participating in deliberative workshops at key points; and (3) targeted engagement with adult social care workers and partners using various methodologies. All activities will be integrated into a single, seamless programme with a final report synthesising insights from all engagement activities and presenting the Commission's findings and recommendations. This contract is procured via a call-off competition under the GCA RM6126 Research & Insights DPS.
