Broadhead Bridge Replacement - Design and Build Contract

This is a Design and Build, 2-Stage Contract for the reconstruction of Broadhead Bridge. The project scope includes: liaising with Network Rail and obtaining BAPA (British Assessment of Planned Activities) approval for railway-related works, conducting ground investigations and scour assessments, obtaining necessary approvals from the Local Lead Flood Authority (LLFA), collaborative working with the WAF Legal Team and landowners, removing rock rolls, repairing and constructing training walls, repairing and reinstating culverts, and restoring the highway approach. Construction is scheduled to take place during the 2027 in-river working window, though earlier completion is possible. This contract requires coordination with multiple stakeholders and compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
